Well girls, we survived! I spent the weekend with 7 of my closest girlfriends down in Emerald Isle… somewhere in one of those Carolina's ;)
You might be asking yourself, what the heck is ADXOmega? Well, I am so glad you asked. As you should be clearly aware, I was an ADPi ;) well after college the UK ADPi girls and the UK Chi Omega girls joined forces for the greater good of the Lexington social scene, and ADXOmega was born.
Ha, yes we are that lame. Don't you worry that we are all pushing 27… err…and 28 years old in this bunch. We still represent our sororities proudly.
We trucked it down to The Emerald Isle, which is in fact NOT 6 hours away, but more like 10. LouLou was not pleased when she found this out, but at least all 7 of us were together in a big ole suburban XL thingamajig. And LUCKILY we all had our own air vents, and Lou was kept at a lovely 68 degrees. (You don't want to be in a car with me if I am hot, I assure you the amount of complaining is OOC)
Anyhoo, we had a crazy blast as usual and spent the long weekend soaking up sun and drinking skinny rita's, wine… and a few BL's. ;)
Here are some pics, these are all I got right now as I am still camera-less. For SHAME.
Nothin beats Blue Moon out of a Mason jar ;)
I would also like to note this is the night I got asked if I was in fact Carrie Underwood... and because we were in North Carolina, and I knew no one... I may have said yes. HAHAHA
So thought out are we. We split up in the grocery store in teams to each take on a task... I think you know which team I was on.
Sara as a Mermaid. However, through no fault of her own, she somewhat resembled a manatee instead of a mermaid, right Pacey?
Because it sounded like a good idea?
Sweet little Ashley catching some rays!
Not really even sure about this, just knew we needed a picture.
Definitely got pulled over when little speedy (who shall remain nameless) was driving. Luckily for us the police sir was a cutey... and let us go. ;)
And just for fun, have you ever urban dictionary-ed your own name? Remember it was a 10 hour car ride...
Well anyways I thought this was hilarious. Yes Jeeves, I'll take that hot toddy.
More updates on life later, just wanted to let y'all know that I am in fact, alive and well.
Hope everyone had a super fab fourth!!
