My Sunday Night

Let me set the scene for you. Loulou is alone at home, having a remorseful Sunday for some reason, posted up on the couch in a face mask with her diva sidekick Sadie Belle, drinking Blue Moon and watching sappy romantic comedies on FX. First it was Maid in Manhattan, then Made of Honor, and then 27 dresses. I don't know what the heck is wrong with me, but all I wanted to do yesterday was cry! I'm guessing I am PMSing, so says my BC supply, and I get SO emotional! If you would have seen me last night you would have died laughing. Stereotypical crazy girl, half buzzed from Blue Moon, living vicariously through the likes of hunky Patrick Dempsy and James Marsden, whilst texting Traci and literally telling Sadie out loud, "don't worry Sadie, momma is trying to find you a daddy". WHAT THE HECK. You all, I was pathetic- It really was comical. I should have taken a picture. This scene from Made of Honor really got me. Y'all know I am all about the movie kisses... ahem, see this post. But I mean seriously how McDreamy is this kiss?? I want a moment like this, and I want it now. So universe, hear my cry for a passionate steamy kiss! I have been a good girl, and I am so ready to be in Love again!

{Background on this scene: McDreamy and Hannah are best friends, and she is marrying someone else, and this is her Scottish Bachelorette party in which everyone puts money in a pot to kiss the bride... let's watch and see what happens...}

Now wasn't that just great? So here's to hoping my McDreamy will come throw change at me and swoop me off my feet at a bar. Or something like that.

You are such an awesome person- I am absolutely convinced that you will be in love again! As for now, it seems like Miss Sadie Belle is keeping you in good company!

Sounds like you and I were doing much the same thing! I plopped down and watched all 3 movies on FX also! Fortunately I wasn't crying...though after staying up so late, I feel like crying today! ugh. Hope you're having a better day :)

Not too long ago I watched that Jim Carrey movie "Liar, Liar" and balled my freaking eyes out when he doesn't go to the kid's birthday party. Damn hormones...

And there is definitely an ah-maz-ing man out there for you, you deserve it! You are a great catch!! :)

LOL You crack me up. I have only seen this movie once so I'm thinking I need to take a second viewing :) I've been slightly less crazy in that I've been watching as much Will & Grace that I can get my hands on and wish on stars for a gay man that just "gets me" ya know? lol I think tonight after some more packing I'll mask it, and pop in a movie with some wine :)

This post made me LOL, and then want to give you a big hug! I def know how tough it can be (I was perpetually single for years, and honestly started to think it was gonna be permanent), but I really believe you will find love again! Clearly you deserve it, and I mean come on just look at you ;) Ohh, and if it's any consolation, I am happily engaged and was still plopped on the couch glued to 27 dresses last night. lol Man or no man, some things never change…!

Ohhhh I feel the exact same way, girl! And I had a very similar Sunday. I pulled out an old box of love letters from an ex-boyfriend and started reading them . . . an hour later I was SOBBING on my bed with the curtains drawn! What on earth??? Thankfully I pulled it together and joined my roommate for an outdoor cocktail and things started looking up right away. :)

Girl, you are too cute! I can just see you on the couch. So funny. It will be a lucky man that snags you!

I don't mean to laugh at your misfortune or anything, but this post had me roaring with laughter, mostly because I have SO been there. All you would have needed to make my match were some freakishly large fuzzy slippers, a 1 lb bag of M&Ms and a severe lack of pants.

Love you!

1) I love it when movies have all of that sexual tension that leads up to a big, amazing, weak-in-the-knees kiss
2) I totally feel you. I cry EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch "Army Wives" (amazing show on Lifetime).

I'm married to a wonderful man and have seen all those movies hundreds of times and I watched them longingly last night, too. Hang in there, your prince will come!
